| | Road fatalities: Data for 1997 are not available because in 1996 some modifications were made to the questionnaire used to capture this data, as a result, data collected had some characteristics that do not allow its use as a reliable statistics. Subsequently, the questionnaire incorporated several changes to improve data quality.
Road motor vehicles, total and rates per 10,000 road motor vehicles fatality: data from 2005-2007 figures have been checked by the reporting sources.
