| | Road fatalities: Data for 1997 are not available because in 1996 the questionnaire through this information was collected had some modifications; as consequence, data collected had certain characteristics that do not allow its use as a reliable statistic. During the next months several changes were incorporated to the questionnaire in order improve data quality.
Road motor vehicles, total and Rates per 10,000 road motor vehicles fatality: data from 1990-2004 are revised based on new figures provided by the Mexico City Government and 2005 data provided by the state and municipalities Governments, and 2006 estimation made based on sales reported by the Asociacion Mexicana de la Industria Automotriz A.C. (AMIA) and the Asociacion Nacional de Productores de Autobuses, Camiones y Tractocamiones A.C. (ANPACT). |
